About Me

My photo
JH
2009: I have a terrific husband, Tom, and two wonderful, interesting, all grown up daughters, Jill and Rachel. Two miniature Dachshunds live at our house. Near and dear to my heart is Perry, whom Rachel married in 2013. August 2016 - We had to say goodbye to Mocha in March after 18 years. She was a good doggie friend to each one of us. Rachel and Perry are expecting their first child in February 2017! Tom and I are thrilled at the prospect of becoming grandparents. 2018: I’m now retired. Little Mathilde Marie is 19 months old and a joy to be around. She’s cute as can be with a mess of curls and plenty of dimples. She likes books and collecting sticks and rocks in the great outdoors. Being carried by her Grampy brings her great joy and she loves watering plants with her Grammy. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our dear Lottie on May 2nd, her 10th birthday. I miss her indomitable spirit every day.
